Which West African statistics do you not trust, and why?

Every series has a point past which it stops carrying meaning — a break in methodology, a year nobody collected, a definition that changed. Name one you work with and say where its edge is. Answers here become caveats on the records that use the series.

How should regional aggregates be labelled so nobody reads them as country data?

ECOWAS, UEMOA and "West Africa" aggregates get quoted as if they were observations of a place. What labelling have you seen that actually prevents this, rather than relying on the reader being careful?

What belongs in a dataset record before it is worth publishing?

This library asks for series name, unit, reference period, geographic coverage, source link and a stated limitation. Is that the right minimum? What would you add, and what is ceremony rather than substance?
